Part one of a feasibility study we have been working on for Oslo Fjordskole that explores the schools goal of developing anational environment/network for Ocean Literacy.The study has been divided between two scales that are relevant for the organisation and the field that it operates in.1 The tactical scale investigates the day to day operations of the school and the actors and initiatives that operate independently in relation to the topic of marine knowledge.2 The strategic scale focuses on Ocean Literacy at the National level, and the steps necessary to facilitate its inclusion within Norwegian politics, practices and funding.Water is our common resource, a need, a potential threat and an opportunity. Oslofjordskole is one of many projects we are currently working with related to water urbanism, and we believe sincerely in increasing accessibility to ocean literacy as an essential part of making meaningful and sustainable habitats for all living kind
