The plan proposes to re-identify Steinkjer as a river delta, establish new economic opportunities and strengthen city life through a sensitive and landscape-based approach for everyone who lives, works and visits Steinkjer. We suggest for Steinkjer to use its landscape, embrace its history and be proud of the exciting future the city has to face. This study is not about drawing Steinkjer's next city plan, but to reveal potentials on several levels that will be brought to the city and the public.
